People liked the class dynamics and restricted roles, which has only their lines blur over time with the additional updates and new weapons. This line blur has only contributed to the animosity most people have for it now. It's still solid to play, every single attack (save for a few weapons) feels like it's something you must commit to. Missing is heavily punished by relatively slow refire rates. If you did well, it showed with your enemies falling to the ground or blown apart.
Of course, this only applied for 6 of the nine classes, with Heavy, Medic, and Pyro being exceptions. With the addition of the crossbow and the recently added flame cannon, these classes can follow this dynamic too. It's pretty damn rewarding to keep your allies alive though a well aimed and timed bolt.
Heavy doesn't really need fixing other than reverting him back to when he didn't need spinnup for accuracy and damage ramp-up.

There is no crack or pirate server available. But even if there was we would still be playing on the legit servers to support the game.

How do I play?
Launch the game from steam.
What gamemodes are there?
Overcharge where you have to fight over a battery and keep it in your base until it reaches 100% charge. The battery keeps its charge so it's possible to steal it at 99% and cuck the other team majorly.
Uplink is pretty much the same thing as Overcharge except the progress is linked to the team not the object so cucking isn't possible.
Occupy is like King of the Hill with a zone that occasionally moves around.
Turf War is like King of the Hill but with 3 zones. Capturing a zone will get you one point and remove the zone. Once all 3 zones are captured they are reset. This continues until the score limit.
Blitzball has nothing to do with that shitty Final Fantasy minigame. You have to capture a ball and bring it back to your base. The ball will explode if it's held for too long.
Server?
Lawbreakers currently does not have a server browser or private game feature. Just enter the queue normally. Due to the low amount of players we are probably all going to be matched together.

i agree, the direction seems rather strange. in a lot of ways i think it is superior (i especially like the animation mods added, its a nice touch as well as the improved lighting, and fps is a lot more consistent). however there are several weapons added i feel were bad additions to the base game (ubersaw, blackbox, huntsman, powerjack, both heavy gloves, the jag). ubersaw, the heavy gloves, powerjack (currently) and the jag are absolute straight upgrades over stock which i feel is bad (no random crits but 25% extra damage AND +75 health on kill? the only populated server doesn't have those). blackbox i just don't like feeder weapons. and huntsman is only really a problem because it has no falloff and therefore is great to spam. i also feel like direct hit is strong enough already without minicritting enemies in the air, i know this is stock tf2 behavior. i rather like flares and gunboats because they add another layer of skill to each class but i do agree gunboats are overpowered and is a straight upgrade over shotgun in most cases which is bad. gunboats for demoman sounds interesting too but i also think it will encourage sticky spamming more, or alternatively be very powerful for mids because you can get there even faster and put very aggressive traps. will the newest flamethrower mechanics ever be back ported as well? i feel like they are far superior to the old flamethrower (now that they fixed the accuracy bug), definitely not dps wise but consistency and range. coming back to old flamethrower it feels very unsatisfying, on the website this looks off the table as far as suggestions go but why?

remember that because this is a mod based off of a mod of a 2007 leaked source build we do not have access to everything valve does and has done for 11 years. If we wanted to "back port" the new flamethrower mechanics that would require either a fuck ton of reverse-engineering, or rewriting the code from scratch in an attempt to recreate what valve has done.
