I remember reading an article posted here not too long ago with the devs saying how this game was designed with streaming in mind.
Did a quick search for it and could only find typical PR puff pieces about how much of a hit it is or how it's number one on Twitch.
I was pretty amazed I had to scroll down this far to find it, from number one to competing with Chess, Fishing Planet and MapleStory in less than a month. It's clear that they paid several of the big streamers to get that number one spot with the beta.
It might be the fastest falling viewership for a game in Twitch history. Another great example of what not to do from Microsoft.

Sea of Thieves players were bitching about PC users being able to swing weapons, reload weapons, and respawn faster which I couldn't find any evidence of. I'll put it to you this way, imagine there was no extra stuff they make you pay for a year or two after the game came out, because the game already shipped with all that in it.
They have been shipping discs with the dlc on the disc but locked until the extra cash is dropped. This is a shit system considering games cost $60+, don't forget to pick up the season pass for another $50 to get the extra content that 15 years ago would have been part of the game anyway.
That being said while cosmetic is the lowest of offenders in the dlc/microtransaction world, it is still cancer. I can look the other way on shit like that if the game is actually good, I won't buy any and if you do… it's your cash I guess. Just don't support the system to the point people have and get it to the point you buy the game twice over before the sequel comes out.
