The MMO sims are better (Hollow Fragment and Hollow Realization), the two ARPGs are bare but not unserviceable (Lost Song and Accel World VS). Fatal Bullet is a TPS that serious potential but is plagued by numerous small problems (input lag, small maps, forcibly limited weapon customization, poor AI). The thing about Fatal Bullet is that, if the file extensions can be cracked, it can be modded with UE4.

Even if the extensions are cracked, I doubt we'll see any mods of value, like modding the UFG to function like the thorn from Freedom Wars. For one, this is an incredibly niche game, and the modding scene seems to stick to the ultra popular titles. Second, this isn't a Bethesda game. Everyone raves about mods any time a console game comes to PC, and nothing ever comes of it because the modding scene can't do shit without a modding toolkit. The best we can hope for is a texture mod that gives your character or arfasys the same special cleavage texture that Leafa, Zeliska, and Strea have.

The only SAO games that aren't complete dogshit are Hollow Realization and Fatal Bullet. Hollow Realization has its own brand of retardation in the form of half the game being DLC on consoles and only a 50-50 chance of your controller working on the PC version with a legit copy of the game, 0% chance with a pirated copy. This is important because of how absurdly bad the M+K controls are.

Pretty there's a fix to allow Xinput controllers on pirated games using the steam API fro controller input like Okami HD and that one, otherwise GLR works.but that's way more involved.

All I know is that I have yet to hear anything about controllers working on a pirated copy of HR even six months after release on PC. The simple fact is that the groups who usually like fixing this kind of thing show no interest in fixing this one.

You're being obtuse, BPM is mandatory because that's how they did controller support, it doesn't work half the time on legit copies because Valve can't do anything right, the same thing happened to every single game that relies on BPM for controller input, through GLR it works more often for some reason when it's basically just a modified steam executable

Hollow Fragment is janky as fuck, heavily updated PSP game, obscene amount of content but the gameplay is pretty stilted, comparable to old MMO's in many ways.

Lost Song is basically shit, I mean, it's playable but it's extremely light on content and the gameplay is kind of a mess.

Hollow Realization is a far better game than the rest of them from a gameplay perspective, lays the fan service on exceedingly thick, which is good or bad depending on your individual taste.

Fatal Bullet is competent enough but falls into the Lost Song range for content, it's only got like four maps, they're pretty sizeable but it gets a bit repetitive.

They're all in the 'comfy grind' zone though. I haven't played the Vs Accell or whatever one yet. Not a fan of the SAO anime, I just like the games' as a good zoneout while I listen to podcasts or something. The capacity for you to obscenely overpower your characters in them is HUGE as well if you put the time in and spend a lot of time reading about their obscure, obtuse and poorly explained systems.
