It's really fun, worth at least a pirate. I still haven't beaten it so I don't know about the replay value, it does have kind of an arena mode, if you're into that.
Just pirate it and buy if you think it's worth 5 bucks.

The style is pretty good and the gameplay feels just right, my only complaints being that some of the skills are rather unbalanced and the final act being kind of sucky.
The devs also added in a New Game+ mode which is basically Hard+ but with new weapons, new enemy types, and revamped enemy encounters and boss fights to make them more difficult, so it's worth a replay at least once.
