Some work goes into webm's I make, but even my webm's are usually taken from youtube since I don't have the hardware to record shit. I know 3 anons who make OC webm's, There is this one anon who makes Dirty and My Summer Car webm's, then there is this anon who makes insurgency webm's and there is one who makes Overwatch webm's. I don't really watch those overwatch webm's so I don't even know if they are his original content or taken from youtube. I suspect that the anon who makes insurgency webm's is the same anon who also makes those Dirt webm's. And both of those rarely get any attention.
There are only a few anons who can make OC and I doubt you are one of them.

Fine, but a lot of anons do. Even if you can't record yourself, you can still contribute. You don't need to have a lot of hardware to rip shit from YouTube and convert it into a webm. As long as it's actual gameplay footage, why does it matter where it came from? Not really no. If you have the specs to run a current year performance game you can record webms easy. Recording software isn't that intensive for a decent rig for a good price. I mean I can play Bayonetta silky smooth with a rig that's less than 2.5k. Probably 1.5k honestly. And it's not like recording software has gotten much worse than the cards. I just don't see why you think this is difficult unless you take that extra step to autistically compress the video.

There are more, but the point is that, while some of these games have varying levels of popularity, they're nowhere near as popular as the likes of those you mentioned. Also, some of these games have higher skill ceilings that may require that a person take a long time to become proficient at them. For instance, I have all the DMC games but I have never completed any of the Bloody Palace modes, and that's because I need to git gud. I don't have a lot of experience with any of the games you mentioned, but they're pretty shallow, aren't they? Especially Overwatch, which only requires that your team don't act like total retards. In terms of individual player skill, most people are on a very level playing field, and it's not that hard to become moderately competent with the game and without putting forth that much effort.
