I don't really understand why they're trying to make an exodus, especially since Mark himself admitted the fuck up. Not to mention the bans themselves were quite small when compared to the ones we got on cuckchan back in the day. Either way It's good to see new boards come out, I'm just worried that it'll splinter /v/.

I've noticed it's more a case of abundant reporting within a thread that causes it. I imagine vols see a thread with a dozen reports, they just clean house. Users also need to realize they take part in how discussion is directed. Most of the time if you do not like a thread the best course of action is to hide it or just ignore it. A shitposter who wants to see it deleted doesn't just make 1 post. They make a dozen instigating derails in the thread.

I just think it's unfair considering that most people think that anons are useless when it comes to banding together to work on a large project and when they finally do get together and that project does finally happen, it usually goes unnoticed and it propagates the thought that anons are useless even further.
These are labors of love, just look at all the sweat, blood, tears and autism that goes into these sort of projects. Ask any /agdg/, as they host demo days every now and then to get some attention and feedback. Again, unfair to not acknowledge them and promote more creativity amongst anons.
