As an old school fucking battletech fan this game pisses me off on multiple levels. So from what I can recall the game is taking places in the outer fringes of the galaxy, essentially the places where the Great houses didn't bother to put much control over because it wasn't worth the effort, it's filled with interesting and neat little kingdoms and relationships, instead of taking one of these and running with it they made up a random mary sue kingdom. If you wanted muh strong female leadership you literally had the mercantile badass bitches of the Magistracy of Canopus but nope, gotta fanfic it up with made up shit that was never mentioned until just now.
