I honestly haven't played ember in 2/+ years. She didn't scale well for endless voids which were basically everything back then, and after I MR'd, I sold her for slot space (I was pretty new, didn't know how to trade that well, selling things to make more space rather than buying more slots).

Everything is mods. Equipment levels only determine how many mods you can equip, not the damage they do. Get generic damage+ mods for your weapons, and use status effects and the correct type of damage (slash, pierce, impact) against particularly hard enemies.

Oberon is honestly a fine solo frame for most content, but if you want to really trivialize shit get nidus, rhino, valkyr, Octavia, or harrow.
As for weapons, the reason you dread is falling off is that it lacks status to remove armor and likely crit mods cause you said it only has serration. So I'd ask around for hunter munitions, split chamber, point strike, and vital sense, and put a catalyst and forma on dread. If you want something other than dread something like amprex or tenora would be good and require minimal mods to wreck shit.
60/60 mods can be gotten from spy mission rewards, corrupted vor in the void, and baro. Other essential mods would be the multishot, damage, crit, and 60/60s for every other weapon type. Essential frame mods are standard stat enhancements, so flow, stretch, intensify, vitality, steel fiber, etc. you'll also want to start trying to get corrupted mods for your frames as they enable the ridiculous min maxing that can make frames super strong. You get those from vaults in the orokin derelicts and by using a key.
And there probably isn't room.

Are any of the Dex weapons they've added with the anniversary any good? For the most part the only thing the Sybaris has is a bit more crit chance (35 vs 30) and a bit more accuracy over the prime version, but is a large downgrade in every single other respect. The Furis seems like it could be a decent status secondary though - same fire rate as twin Grakata, but rather than 11% status for two bullets, it's got 30% for one, which seems like it would get more procs. The dual swords seem pretty meh, especially when compared to something like twin Krohkur.

Mallet scales infinitely, more or less. Something does damage to it and then that gets multiplied by whatever number your ability strength gives you; output is i think blast so it's not as effective on blast-resistant and well-armored targets.
But it's still a fucking whopping shitload of damage that mallet can produce. And it's also affected by the roller if you decide to use it for some retarded reason since roller has its own additional damage multiplier for the mallet it's carrying that scales with distance traveled. And amp increases the damage and range by 200%

We've managed to gut the entire damage that the status was playing off of causing blast and corrosive procs at the same time as the IPS and gotten our crit up to a whopping 46.9% with a 5.2x multiplier.
