Also, in terms of character/weapon variety, what would a viking really bring? SC already has characters with weapons that a viking would use, and plenty of characters have had norse themed costume pieces before: Shit from the Americas would actually be unique/new to the series.. Timeline wise it also wouldn't work out, since SC takes place in the 16th centuary; vikings hadn't existed for hundreds of years; wheras the Conquest of Mexicoo started in the 16th century.
Realistically, the only actually new weapons/fighting style/character concepts they can do are:
