Hi /v/ I've recently decided to play Darkest Dungeon with my friend one of us playing and the second one watching the game and we both really enjoyed the game until RNG decided to fuck us over immensely. There are mechanics that seem really fucking unfair and don't have much counterplay in terms of how you can approach them Shuffling more often than not means just the death of at least one of your heroes with no way for you to avoid that for example and ones that are just simply unfun The difficulty spike at Veteran is fucking bullshit and is created only so that you have to grind for more gold and heirlooms until you expand the fucking hamlet enough and seeing that people here seem to be divided on whether the game is fair, I thought that you guys might know at least a few mods that rebalance the game to still keep it challenging but fix the game progression and difficulty curve to actually be fun and making the game a bit more fair.

If it wasn't so annoying to level heroes to level 6 and lose them, then level them again and lose again I would play it more often. But it becomes a chore at one point.

I am familiar with hyperbole but holy fuck if you ever lost a guy solely due to a shuffle you must've taken 50 bad decisions on the way there.

I was about to yell at you but then >>14316672 posted that amazing infopic.

Also Switch scrub here, waiting on the fucking patch because currently the only way to finish Epic length quests is to one-shot them due to a glitch. Serves me right for trusting the leaf.
