I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

I couldn't help but notice some confusion on Early Modern English.
Thou - singular, objective
Thee- singular, objective
Ye-Plural, subjective
You-Plural Objective
"You" became the dominant pronoun when English society began to change and everyone began addressing each other using the royal plural.
The words "mine" and "thine" are used when before a vowel or as the word "mine" would be used in Modern English. Otherwise use the words, "my" and "thy."
Study this pattern of verbs
I am, We are
Thou art, Ye are
He is, They are
I have, We have
Thou hast, Ye have
He Hath/has, They have
"Whence" means "From what"
"Why" means "For What"
"Hither" "To here"
"Thither" "To there"
It is not necessary and is even wrong to put a preposition before these words.
The "Th" sound was once represented by the character " thorn" ( þ). In England, it was simplified in form, but resembled the letter "Y" too much so it was changed to the letters "Th."
Indeed it still confuses many.
Of course, Early Modern English grammar was not held to a standard among the masses, but these should serve as guidelines.

While it doesn't really matter, last delusion does not mean the same as ultimate fantasy.
2b8133 No.14325351

Depends on how you take "Final". As far as I'm aware(I'll admit I could be wrong), Final Fantasy was called as such because at the time of the NES original, Square didn't have much hope of a future at the time, thus possibly being the final game they'd make. Obviously that's not how it turned out down the line though.
I had considered "Penultimate Ponderings" for alliterative appeal, but Gamesfield already did that.
2e2150 No.14325381
>>14325351
While ultimate actually means final, in this context it means something along the lines of "supreme" or "best". It's not his last fantasy, it's his ultimate one. The one at the very top.
A fantasy, while technically a delusion, isn't the same in this context. here it means more something like "dream" or "whishful thought/ thinking".
Penultimate pondering doesn't even come close to meaning the same. Penultimate is the second to last. Second place instead of first. A pondering is merely a thought.
I hope English isn't your first language.

Fair enough, I was just trying to go for an approximation of "Final Fantasy" without directly ripping the name (same with replacing "Tifa" with "barmaiden"), but still calling it to mind, especially with the difference in timeframe. Was also in a slight rush to get the original shitpost out.
How's this seem?
2e5633 No.14325481

Considering that the context of the shitpost was "hurf durf I wrote what you wrote but made it retarded, LOL!" I'd think that they neither meant to make a funny play on words, nor anything even remotely clever. Therefore they meant "Final" as in "The last one" not "ultimate" or anything like that.
It was obviously not genuine anyway and all the replies and this homage are undeserved.

Hungering is a great choice by the way.
