my favorite thing to do in final fantasy nes is, after i get the floater, to go to the mouth of the river north of astos' castle with the canoe and then walk on foot and more canoe all the way to the airship. i follow the path in pic related. i like it because it feels like an adventure in and of itself. i do it because it's something i do in every game
