Since research shows the vast majority of a given games sales happen within the first month, you'd be 100 percent correct to say that Ubisoft shouldn't care, unless of course they paid top-dollar for a Denuvo license, otherwise it's another blow to Denuvo, because otherwise it's a waste of money to pay for an expensive DRM license if it's going to be cracked anyways when they could've saved money and gone with a simpler DRM solution or even something in-house to keep pirates off at least that precious first month.
