But really, the most important things in her quest are: do not bump into her, follow her closely (it's completely fine to abandon her when you need a water flask, I never failed to get the idol and I forget the flask in storage every time), and in the final race, follow behind her very closely the whole way. The best magics aren't actually used by the pure classes, Magick Archer is one of the strongest damage dealers in the game because fuck you have a 1.8 damage multiplier passive. That and Magic Knight is probably the best way to go about it if you make the mistake of wanting to be melee in this game.

Careful about picking Warrior, that's another class people do sometimes get bored by. Having only 3 skills, no defensive options besides facetanking or your one skill with i-frames, slow normal attacks (besides jumping light, which you'll spam all the time), bad climbing and no ranged options basically can get frustrating and you have to have a massive boner for Berserk to power through that. At least you get high tankiness and high stagger output, so you can fuck up some enemies before you should be able to.

B) Is a metal golem that I've been fighting for like 30 minutes now
C) Is the last talisman I have to break, which is on top of a fucking tree
I've tried climbing the golem to reach the talisman jumping from it, to no avail. I've tried waiting for my pawns to target the talisman with their ranged attacks, but the just scream shit about finding it (while it's just over their heads). Is there any legit way to destroy that thing as a mele character or the game? I find it hard to believe that thee devs would make a part of the game that is just imposible to complete if you chose the wrong vocation. But then again, mele fighters are generally fucked over in this game.

I've played as a figther, as an assassin and as a warrior. I felt like returning to fighter and so I did. IMO all parts should be achievable with all vocations. Otherwise, you discourage people trying them all out. If I know that with a mele vocation I may encounter enemies that I simply can not defeat (like, it's actually imposible) I'm less likely to ever paly as a fighter or a warrior.

While unarmed you do your base strenght in damage, you have a basic puch and kick and access to dodge roll and double vault if you have them unlocked. In BBI you can get a bloody knuckle accesory that doubles your base strenght when unarmed and you can equip two of those to quadruple base strenght for a somewhat viable monk.

Assassin is best for levelling iirc because it has the highest attack increase per level than any other, but strider has that one move that makes you go ridiculously fast, which combined with thousand kisses and other things is deadly as fuck. Pro Tip - Most of the Tier 3 Sorcerer attack spells, the ones with the flat circular aura while casting, can be stacked with other Sorcerers casting the same spell to cut the casting time. Four Sorcerers can nearly insta-cast one Tier 3 attack spell and easily break the game.

Well one thing which really changed my Sorc gameplay style was realizing you can use the basic M2 charge attack when jumping, allowing you to keep moving when you do it.
Try these using Brontide(LIGHTING WHIP!) and Ingle. But if you feel like you want to change and regret your stats, try Magick Archer first; it has a slightly lower Magic Attack growth rate so it enjoys some earlier levels in Mage/Sorc and it has some really neat attacks.
Also, Mystic Knight is fucking metal as fuck.

I was using the lightning whip at first but I later got rid of it because it drained stamina so quickly and if a enemy hit you it would disperse, which they usually would because they would tank the hit and charge at me. Also you can't run when using it. Also I switched from Ingle because it was just too weak for the enemies I was fighting and cosmetion was a lot better although it has a higher charge time.

That's what really turned me off with the endgame sorcerer gameplay. All these spells and the only thing you do is spam a basic staff attack because it does more DPS than anything else in the game.
I had the most fun with a standard Fighter. Blocking is interactive, there's a nice set of skills that feel good to use like Dragon's Maw, and your armor looks awesome. The only drawback is there are a few enemies that will OHKO you if you get knocked down or grappled so you have to be super careful about that.

You get about 5 or 6 portcrystals over the course of the game, which isn't a lot. In New Game Plus, you can also buy them from The Black Cat (the forger's shop) for 200,000 gold each, but the game apparently only lets you place ten of them.

The thing about portcrystals is that you have to put them BETWEEN the endpoints of certain routes to maximize efficiency.
An example (let's forget you can directly tp to both locations for now):
Cassardis(A) and Gran Soren(B).
Instead of putting one on A and the other on B, you should put just one on Mountain Waycastle.

Music is oggs just lying about in the game data, you can swap them out easily. Problem is that there's an arc file you need to hex edit otherwise it won't loop properly, with the music either getting cut short on it's loop, or with it playing through wholly once and not looping any further.
