Quick question:
I'm playing all the Fallout games, let me recap first
Then I went back to try Fallout and shit, and boy that was fun .
Can't understand faggots that ignore this game because it's confusing or say the UI is hell. The master was a great concept.
I've recently finished Fallout 2.
I knew the plot/script was a controversial point with fans, so I went open minded (same as Old World Blues DLC).
I liked it, it had a great world and liked the main quest, and again, fantastic antagonist, still a "grey" villain, not a pure good vs pure evil cliche.
<FUCK EVERYTHING ELSE THOUGH
Game feels like a Fuck You to players of the first Fallout.
>You don't like companions? Fuck You, every fight has 5 to 10 enemies at the same time, so you better have some human shields.
>Max animation speed doesn't work, so you have to wait to have all those enemies finish their turns
>Let's put a million ropes that you won't ever use
>Finesse feels gimped
>Small guns is a waste of points
>Fucking encounters around Navarro every half square, feels like they force you to upgrade your outdoorsman skill
This made me have to save-scum to avoid Enclave patrols, not cool.
Speaking of rushed, it feels like the ending part of this game is rushed as well (blow a computer with an explosive without any hint?), but i read that the product was pushed early for season sales, so fuck the corporates for that.
Fallout New Vegas. What's there to say that you don't already know. 4-5 playthroughs and I still want to play.
My favorite Fallout, memorable characters, great plot, and it feels like choices matter.
On the classics, aside from the speech options, i didn't see a lot of a "tailored experience" to your character. I'm probably wrong.
""Fallout"" 4. As a shooter, it's okay. As a Fallout game, it's awful. I feel they went on the right direction with the weapon customization, it gives a reason to collect trash. BUT, as always, the execution needs more work.
Base building is useless, same as above.
Only redeeming point was how they handled the power armor… except the plot holes they incorporated with it (power cores that last minutes/1 day in-game, power armor everywhere and for everyone, everybody has power armor knowledge but they live in rusted metal shacks).
Dialogue was awful and without choices, it truly felt like "Skyrim with guns".
Fuck the plot of everyone on this shithole, fuck all it's characters, fuck this "faux noir" ambience they failed to reproduce so bad.
And now the question:
I've read about Fallout 3, i know people hate it. But is it worth it?
>Like pirate it and find out faggot
Indeed, but I ask because I see the game shits itself if used with +w7 OS, and want to know if it's worth the hassle to make it work.
