Thread for Electronic builds to solve /v/ related issues.

I offer to you, a schematic to solve the leftward shift of an RGBs signal for CRT users.

The leftward shift is caused by a small delay in sync processing. Sync in most systems is generated for the Composite/S-Video signal, which is ever so slightly behind the RGB signals. This schematic inserts a similar delay to the Sync signal to align the picture properly,

But vidya is digital. Physical electronics become irrelevant through the layers of abstraction.

Thank you OP. Any more useful tube related schematics?

It's an abstract kind of shitposting.

>the leftward shift of an RGBs signal for CRT users

I've literally never heard of this issue, and I've used CRTs for years (still have one hooked up to my SNES) with no problems.

Do you use RGBs? If you use S-Video or Composite, you won't see this issue because the sync and the signal will be in phase. RGBs is somewhere around 1us out of phase with composite sync.

Pls, anon I left EE school years ago

CRTs are stupid.

Why the fuck does input lag matter? Your console receives the controller input, not the screen

That's an awfully specific thread you have there, OP. I have very little to contribute, since I do not have a lot of information at hand about general electronics.

However; I am planning to buy a SNES and build in buttons for region and refresh switch. Any nice guides on that?

On the other hand, what is the chance that Zachtronics will remake KOHCTPYKTOP?

Pro tip: don't shove controllers up your ass when you get angry at a game. Assmustard can mess with the electronics and make the controller stinky.

Just remove the tabs in the cartridge slot. They're literally all that's standing in the way of playing Japanese carts

Video signals are not digital, at least not on systems prior to the implementation of HDMI. Having your sync signal slower than your image signals leads to off-center image. This circuit is only relevant to CRTs that don't have manual H-Sync adjustment

Information like this should be posted on appropriate web forums that have some level of post permanence, like Vogons, Sega-16, and TheISOZone.

There's >>>/electronics/ but it's really dead.
