Shadow's game was a pre-2007/Inafune example of Japanese devs going "we want the "Western GTA loving audience" after being situated in San Francisco and deciding to appease kids wanting to see Sonic wield a gun. SA2 was already pushing it in terms of absurd early 00's attitude and helped to spawn a new generation of furfags. It's really saying something when this is being looked upon more fondly in comparison to the horrors of today's soulless cultural marxism AAA games, like nuWolfenstein 2 being sort of of in between that and Shadow's game in how hard they were trying to be ==EXTREME==.
If only Sega weren't retarded with business and had the decency to fully reject Denuvo. I can only imagine how much more positively the series would be seen if Forces was a more robust game.
