The only worthy thing about Silent Hill 5 is the god awful user interface. It is a prime example of how not to make a functioning interface.

I don't know how many here are aware that there is a new sub game called Cold Waters. It's WW3 (with a start date in the 1960s or 1980s) where you control an American submarine and go on missions in a "sandbox", and if you succeed in your mission it affects the events in the war (the game even presents you with news articles about your exploits). It's somewhat simplistic and not really a proper simulation, but it's fun to fire a missile from underwater and watch it sink an enemy transport. The devs are also planning to introduce a campaign against the Chinese.

There was a torrent on the piratebay a couple years ago that included a mod installer for a bunch of decent mods. I forget the name though, I think it was called good edition or some shit like that. Such a shame too, a proper Silent Hunter with 5's graphics and physics would be pretty great

Everyone knows what Cold Waters is, Anon. It's a great casual arcade game, but it's not comparable to the Silent Hunter series.
