For what it's worth, I did like Charlie Murder. It definitely had some problems (the equipment system was very much a game of comparing the green numbers versus the red numbers, some of the brief gameplay changes were needlessly difficult), but it had a cool visual style to it, and it did some interesting stuff with its magic system that I don't think I've seen other games do. If any other games do it, let me know, because I've been missing out.

>More than just stock damage dealing spells, there's also spells that give buffs and advantages to you and your teammates (summon demons to fight for you, give your team a mass healing or a defense or cooldown buff , summon a pile of weapons for you to use)
>There's a spell to convert an enemy on to your side, and once I used it on a cultist-looking healer enemy and he started healing us instead
>You learn new spells by getting tattoos, because why the hell not
