As far as I can remember

>4th tier upgrades to some weapons and armor, have fun grinding for purple metals to upgrade those

>10 new floors for super endgame players, your only reward after fighting 10 floors worth of overpowered haters is 1 Purple Metal, and some other insignificant stuff

TDM just had a rework. Dunno when it happened, but I logged in last week and now there are "lost bags" that contain components and items. You occasionally get them when raiding and at the end of each day.

I like the TDM change enough to say it's worth coming back and just doing that for a bit. It's also much easier to get the green and blue metals. 250,000 coins, buy premium shrooms, recycle for points, buy from vending machine.

I tried to like it, its a super novel idea but was kind of a hot mess.

It's basically a crappy roguelike MMO with the player interraction stripped out. It's fun for a few weeks maybe, then it gets old.

Thinking about it I guess the Roguelike can be dropped since you don't actually lose stuff when you die, just have to pay to recover it.

I wanted to give it a try but it looked like it would be a drag by midgame and they'd try to bait you into buying shit with real dollars

I quit playing half a year ago or so, the bosses feel like artificially hard bullet sponges

I Let It Die almost a year ago. It really doesn't seem like the game is fully geared to bilking the player out of every last dime, so I don't expect it to stay online for too awful long. And I don't really feel like investing a significant amount of time into playing a game I won't be able to return to 5 or 10 years down the line to recapture some of that enjoyment.

Now, if they wanted to release a stand-alone game balanced for single-player and give us a physical box edition. Yeah, I'd probably get that and play it fairly regularly.

Being online only is a real turn off.
