Its pretty interesting to see how they had to wrap up the whole thing, I mean they flat out lined a bunch of NPCs in a dark room and called it a spaceship.

I hope they revisit EYE some day, Deathwing is not doing so well.

Deathwing was never gonna do well, a FPS game with nothing new to show with most of the game is "Clear Room and Move from Point A to Point B" and with rulesets from Warhammer where you can't play as a teleporting duel-wielding swordsman with powers to summon an army and posses your enemies.

The main reason is that it's a really fun game for when you just want lots of combat. The gunplay is great, there are lots of cool ways to kill enemies, and the unlimited respawns make it perfect for ensuring you never run out of enemies to kill.

You don't have to wade through ingame cutscenes or story shit to get to the combat. You don't have to play to a particular part of a level for one good fight and then it's over - the fight lasts as long as you care to stay in that area.

I plan on playing Arx Fatalis sometime in the near future. Should be fun.
