Best I can come up with. It's fun and plays well. It's a shame the first one didn't include a similar challenge mode since American Nightmare ruins the original's sublime reload mechanic by including magazine-fed weapons. In case you're unaware, the original featured an arsenal of firearms (Revolver, Pump-Action Shotgun, Hunting Rifle, Flare Gun) that were each loaded one round at a time. Tapping the reload button more quickly inserted a round speeding up reload time which made for nice thrills when reloading during the brief windows your crowd control ability (flashlight) provided. But the sequel's challenge mode is still a good time and maybe relevant. It's been a while since I played Mercenaries Mode and I'm not recalling specifically what made it unique besides being multiplayer. Which neither AW is.
