Gmod's Trouble in Terrorist Town gamemode, You need counter strike source for most of the textures for most maps. The Murder gamemode is more simple and worth checking out as well.

I miss the old StarCraft custom maps like The Thing and Parasite.

The Assassin's Creed games from Brotherhood to 4 had a multiplayer mode that was reminiscient of the Ship. You basically had to blend into a crowd before attacking a player.

Apparently there is still a community for the mp to these games

Kane and Lynch 2 had a cool gamemode where everyone participated in a heist, and once the loot had been taken you have the option of killing your fellow heisters at the right time in order to take all their loot for yourself and escape. Too bad it was meh all around.

There's a fucking laundry list of shit that ruined TTT. I think the biggest one by far is how overbearing the rules are.

The rest are just inherent in gmod.

There was a fucking time when I was able to logic out who the killer is simply by doing things like noticing someone changed their gun, then finding their original gun missing ammo while someone else was killed much earlier with the same type of weapon. You can't do that shit anymore and it wouldn't even matter because most traitors now adays just grab the 1 OP weapon on the server and gun everyone down before they can react.

I think the worst part of all of this was I spent a few months on and off developing a map for TTT. I put insane amounts of care into it. Made certain areas dark so the disguiser would work. Made certain key points very open. Added a traitor tester, however it only worked properly if a plug in the basement was in, which required 2 squads of people to operate, breaking them up and making it easier for traitors to do something like get another traitor proven. It was nearing completion. Comfy as fuck, but also autistically designed just needed some polish. I just cancelled it. The community is not fit for that type of gameplay.
