Panzer Dragoon Orta was easily my favorite OG Xbox game. I really wish the railshooter genre was still a thing, if for no other reason than because I want another experience like Orta.
On a related note, I've really been craving a good dragon game lately. And what I mean by that is, I want a game about being a big, flying, fire breathing, castle-torching Dragon. The closest you can find are usually action games where you can transform into one for a brief powerup, or something like that. But I want a title where the entire game is spent as a dragon, and the gameplay supports the feeling of stength and power a dragon should represent. I can imagine in my head a sort of open world action rpg where you start out as a whelp killing wolves and collecting shiny rocks you find sitting around (because every dragon worth their salt must have a huge hoard of treasure), to growing into a dangerous local threat eating villagers and stealing gold from travelers, to becoming a massive drake seiging castles and fighting off knights (and other dragons!) trying to steal your cave-sized pile of precious wealth. Throw in a good flying and climbing system to make navigating the world fun and interesting, as well as the ability to choose between different dragon aspects (fire, ice, acid), and you're golden. I think that would be fun as fuck.
