The only semi-interesting thing about Titanfall is the parkour, the mechs themselves are not that amazing. The first game sucked dicks because it was missing a campaign with a good story, the thing that makes people care about a series beyond the first week. The second game amended that and it was good, but not that amazing.
EA buying Respawn is just burning money for little gain. Titanfall will get stale pretty soon after the third game because EA is incapable of inovation and the dev team while capable doesn't have that many creative ideas. All in all, it's not that big of a loss.
