The problem isn't that. The vast majority of the people who play videogames already think microtransactions are fucking stupid and wont pay for it.
The problem is described in your webm; only a small minority actually pays for this shit, of which an even significantly tinier minority actually pays enough to make the game profitable.
When that happens, the issue shifts. You don't just need people to not pay for shit they don't want, but they also shouldn't buy games in which businesses sell shit they don't want. As long as games fulfill their purpose of being decent enough entertainment, this wont change. Most people don't mind time-wasting grinding, as the reason they bought the game is to waste their time whilst having a little bit of casual fun.
