Sin and punishment 2 missed the mark, at least when I played it single player. The strength of S&P was that it was a short and tight grab bag arcade-style game. S&P2's levels seem to last forever and I was fatigued with most of them by the end. Not a terrible game, it just disappointed me.
Fucking Bangai-O Spirits was one of those games I just loved, no real comment there, still haven't played the original.

The thing is Treasure were an independent company. They had a relationship with Sega but were platform agnostic, hence why they made games exclusive to certain systems that were competing with each other.
