Sometimes if you want to post images saved from 4chan or 8chan on other imageboards you might get some sort of hash error. That's why you shouldn't necessarily trust modified date. Not to mention you can just edit it with exif data editor. I think it might have even been for 8chan image posting from 4chan. You had to enter paint and edit a single pixel to whatever for that error to disappear. In fact, you can go test it out yourself. Take a pic from 4cuck or 8chan and post it on dvach and see if it goes through. Mine very often don't and maybe that was the case too.
