I know that being OP entitles me to being an autistic faggot, but I do not understand this series (Still Sick). How the two main characters interact with each other makes zero sense to me. Maekawa was nice at the beginning, but then magically (and VERY abruptly!) becomes an asshole permanently after drawing a manga or something? Everyone keeps mentioning how much Shimuzu has 'grown' after meeting her, but it doesn’t really seem to me like she’s changed at all. Moreover, Shimuzu is initially not O.K. with Maekawa acting like an asshole, then warms up to it for some reason? Maekawa continually acts like Shimuzu did something wrong, and Shimuzu seems to agree with that...even though I can't for the life of me figure out what she did that was so horrible?.............what?
These are just a few examples, but just in general the way Shimuzu and Maekawa interact, in particular how Maekawa functions at all, and their overall personalities and emotional states make ZERO sense to me. It’s like someone took the personalities and emotions button and keeps slamming the “RANDOM” button. I feel so lost in this story in a social and emotional sense that if the next chapter had Maekawa just suddenly start crying in the middle of a hallway because she saw a flower, I would feel like it was par for the course. Hell, I think it would start making MORE sense.
