Seriously what is with the lack of tulpabros around nowadays?

I was a regular in the original infinity chan one but we had a pretty slow board overall and is now lost to time, and from what i could see tulpa posters in cuck chan were struggling a lot with the ongoing lack of posters and the constant look for a board that would take then in that it wasn't trash and then the community divided and threads died, a lot of people migratted to the discords because of this issue, I kind of remembered the huge boom this got around 2012 thanks to the Ponyfags but since you don't see as much around, even /x/ had ocassional general threads back then as well before it became a huge another source for memes or cheap pastas.

Anything we could do to "promote" this place or something like that? tulpas are one of the coolest things ever i feel sad seeing the lack of interest.

The same reason most communities are dead; lack of new blood.

Communities always lose members over time, and new people need to come in to replace them. Tulpas just haven't garnered any attention the last few years, leaving the community to rot away.

I don't think there's much we can do about it.

Tulpamancy caught on initially because it was a new thing. A little bit of visibility was all that was needed. But now it's just one of the many weird things that you can find on the internet.

The other issue is that the boards don't really serve a purpose beyond trying to convince other people to get into tulpamancy.

If I recall correctly, the most alive threads were FAQ/Help threads, followed by "please post something so the board isn't dead" threads.

Topics such as progress, what is your tulpa like, what is a cool thing you did with your tulpa or the tulpa talk shitpost thread didn't go anywhere, nor do they facilitate any long-lasting discussion.

I think that if /tulpamancers/ wants to go anywhere, it should actually serve a purpose.

Given the imaginative nature of tulpamancy, exploring ideas together and trying to provide inspiration for one another might be a decent direction.

Maybe art threads, but I feel that anyone half-decent might avoid it as to not get any association with the tulpa community. I know I would.

I think the first mandatory thing we should do is the usual FAQ/Help threads, also one where we could share different methods and ways to work around, something I've been noticing over the years is that the tulpa community wasn't as open or forgiving to new people getting into it turned then off their interest with it happened with the half-chan threads apparently, a lot of people had their own self-made rules and then you had the cringe or creepy connotations at that.

If we try to push this place a little bit I think we should post easy enough introductions to newfags, and avoid anything too big like the usual guides and what not which I feel are too obsolete or complex to anyone get into like theld info guides, I don't mind making this one of these later.

Other than that your usual sharing experiences or "what did you do today", also sharing ideas or inspirations for tulpa form/personality or what not, i'm also drawfag, not a very great one but I wouldn't mind making simple doodle thread or what not if that is the case as long we get to see this place flourish a bit, events where people could take part or what not would help guess.

Going a little back, part of the huge interest was how much of a new thing is but there was a drive as well, Ponyfags started it because of their huge interest on getting to get their favorite character, which later it catched on, I think there would be enough people who would do anything to live with their waifu, OC or just favorite character.

You're always free to try. The board owner hasn't been active for over a month, so it's possible to claim and reorganize it. (Though the question remains whether 8kunt administration is handling any claims.)
