I assume that's how it goes, lots of men and women in my life have had lots of sex multiple partners including having a "monogamous life" partner while having sex with other men/women on the side. The people who had a dozen sex partners before age 25 were generally either bisexual people or were allowed to do whatever they wanted by their family, either dropped out of high school or stopped attending, were doing both legal and illegal drugs frequently and always invited to parties. Either that or buy a prostitute as most preform group sex (source: Quora).
