Slackware
>easy to install
>not bloated to shit
>first real Linux distro, still being maintained
>the most stable and secure distro
>encourages you to get work done instead of installing dumb software
>community is great, shares useful scripts and other good shit they make
>hard to use for noobs but you actually learn how Linux works
Gentoo
>tedious to install because customization
>tedious to use for no real reason
>unstable
>encourages you to install a better distro
>community is comparable to the Kali community, all wannabe hackers that think they're hot shit because they followed instructions
>teaches you nothing
The Gentoo meme needs to die. Slackware is objectively better for advanced users and hobbyists.
