Should I upgrade my laptop?

The one I got was a Lenovo IdeaPad, with 8gb ram, 1tb storage, amd12 7th gen radeon...

Its pretty good so far for music production which is the main thing I want it for, but it can't even run something like Cuphead without heating up like a motherfucker. It can't even run Ground Zeores, I'm assuming. It has a 2.7 GHZ, and GZ requires more than that.

What's another laptop I can get that would be even better for under $500?
