I just recently acquired an old rig from a friend. It's about ten years old-ish, and I want to convert it into a private media/home server.

I was thinking I could set one or more of the following up on it:

>Music and/or movie player daemon

>MythTV

>Vidya Emulation

>SDR reciever

>Security system

I know about those but I'd like to know more, what are some neat projects I can do with a spare PC other than as a workstation, a storage server, or whatever I listed?
