Intel's decline sure is a sight to behold, it hasn't even been 2 years since the final Itanium processor line's release.

Do they have any hope of recovering a few of their lost shekels with their planned entry into the dGPU market next year or will they die so hard as to bring forth the year of the 1% RISC-V desktop marketshare?

What the fuck nigger, I'm still on 4.9.4. Why is everyone doing this retarded "new major version every week" thing now?

Dropping support for an unused architecture is a good thing - less bloat.

>Why do they maintain software? Stop using software nigger, better use old software as I do! I'm still on Linux 1.0 nigger. Nigger.

They make new versions of software so people can use it, idiot. If you use debian old stable, or for whatever retarded reason, that's your problem, but calling someone a nigger, just because they want to use a newer version? And gcc 11 is still in development. If you could read, you would know that. The current version is 9.1.

The only reason I would still use gcc 4 is because 4.7 is the last version that can be build with a C compiler http://bootstrappable.org/projects.html , but anyway you're using 4.9.4, so you probably don't know that and just think you're special because of using the old version of gcc.

How is it bloat? You don't have to download the module that supports the architecture. And you don't know that the arch is unused. Reusing cheap surplus server hardware allows people to become more independent from (((the cloud))).

Who are you quoting? Could it be that you are an illiterate nigger?

>4.7 is the last version that can be build with a C compiler

Nice parroting, but if you had actually tried it you would know that 4.9.4 still doesn't need C++. Which is to be expected since such a large breaking change between minor versions would be retarded. I use 4.9.4 because it's the last release before the maintainers went full retard on UB-based optimizations.

I hate Intel as much as the next guy, but Intel is dying because a compiler dropped Itanic support? Is posting a compulsion for you?
