This means that despite your valid points, it will fail to persuade people who will just convince themselves that you are making shit up or not understanding the situation because they prejudged you as a dumbass and will not exert the mental effort to verify whether your claims are actually valid or not. Basically you run up against plain disbelief from lazy tools who dismissed what you said simply because they didn't like the way you said it.
