>Did you start that download in 2006?
why people that don't use Tor keep spreading that myth that Tor is slow?
Tor is fast enough to allow you to stream Full HD video in real time. If your isn't, that means:
-something is wrong with your PC, OS, etc
-your government or ISP is slowing down your Tor connection in order to discourage you from using it
Bandwidth in Tor is very good. Only issue could be latency, but only for things like fast online games (but those use UDP so can't use them over Tor) or VoIP (realtime speaking with someone). For web browsing, chats, IRC etc latency in Tor is fine.
Download it right now at https://torproject.org
If you are Tor newbie, choose Tor Browser. Later you can explore standalone Tor, Tails, Whonix, Qubes+Tor.

>Don't most torrents not work over tor?
all torrents work over Tor
>Because most torrents are udp but tor only serves tcp?
torrenting can use both TCP and UDP. If you torrent in Tor you will just use TCP

>5. Add http trackers to your torrent
>That I can't do, and there's the whole problem with this.
why not?
here is one of lists https://torrents.me/tracker-list/ there are more of them
just copy paste the ones that start with http or https and put them into your torrent download. click on properties of torrent you are downloading or somewhere and add them
>Also >http
?
>Are you fucking retarded ?
>Haven't you read how Tor works ?
>If you make torrent go trough Tor part of the content will be visible.
what will be visible?
if you route your traffic to Tor at router level, your PC and torrent client will not know your real IP, so it won't be able to leak it
but you better use the Whonix method
>It's easier to make a fake ID
then make fake ID, buy wireless (wisp) internet and give them fake address. tell them that you will connect and configure it on your own
or use cellular network to access internet
>than to steal internet.
if you live in remote village, yes
if you live in city or near city, with directional antenna you can access plenty of unsecured home routers or public wifi spots
