>Traditional forums are superior to imageboards. Prove me wrong.
No, prove yourself right faggot.
>What's the point of only having a fixed number of pages if the threads get archived anyway?
Traditionally, it kept storage costs low because imageboards have _images_, whereas traditional forums only had text.
>Why are threads not split into multiple pages once they get past a certain number of posts?
I've actually never, ever thought this would be a good idea. I have, however, that that having to load multiple pages on traditional forums is annoying, especially when trying to read quoted posts. What would be the benefits, anon?
>How are you supposed to encourage users to create quality content if they get absolutely no reward for it?
Slow boards often have bigger posts on the catalog for weeks, months, or longer. Traditional forums that are quick-moving struggle to keep a balance between quality threads and new content. Often times, the same threads remain as having many comments, and new threads get overlooked.
Why is there no integration between imageboards and other software?
What is Clover, other 8chan and 4chan readers, and a plethora of browser extensions. Also, many chans have built-in support for css extensions
