So /SW/ I'm thinking about starting a YouTube channel purely based on star wars legends lore and Vs matches, I have written scripts for 20 videos and recorded audio for 7 videos already. I'm not here to shill or to promote, I am here to ask for your guys opinion if I should start. Does YouTube need another SW channel? Does it need another boring bastard who speaks over images or videos of star wars? (Mainly the style I am going for).
I have taken inspiration from channels such as Jensaarai1, SW Reading Club, GreyJedi91 and on my previous channel I uploaded gameplay of Moviebattles 2 similar to Sylvar in editing, and while I enjoyed making those videos it's not where my passion lies. I really enjoyed writing and recording these lore videos and I would like to make more.
My first video will be on the topic of Jedi Battle armour and it's history and usage thoughout the Jedi Order.
If anyone has any video topic ideas just say and I'd love to make a video!

Give it your best then. But a word of advice, don't use your real face or an avatar (unless its a droid or something) and use several pictures and a good soundtrack. If Disney takes you down for using SW music, then use something in public domain that sounds SW-ish. If you have a way to modify your voice to sound a bit deeper than normal, then use it just in case. Finally, have a repeatable phrase to use at the end of all your videos like "May the Force be with you" or something original.

Increase your baseline volume, and speak more confidently when you're recording. You're a bit mumbly and, at times, it can be difficult to hear what you're saying. I'd also recommend a quick introduction akin to, "hello, today I'll be talking about X" rather than jumping straight in. References would also be nice - when you were talking about Luke making his lightsaber, just throw in where it was mentioned.

I think you got some stuff mixed up, for one- the light saber crystals are only known as Kyber crystals in the Disney continuity. While there is a similarly named object in Expanded Universe continuity, it's known as the Kaiburr crystal rather than kyber- that and there's only one such crystal, albeit with multiple fragments. Really, just avoid cross-contamination of sources if you can.
Other than that and the voiceover, it's a decent effort so far.
