The film tries way too hard to make me like her, which had the opposite effect. And then there's that stupid bit at the end where she prevents Finn from saving everyone and actually getting some kind of character development because 'love beats hate' and then suddenly becomes his love interest out of nowhere. As badly written as Poe and Finn are, I'd have preferred the two of them going off on some side mission instead of Rose taking up space with her issues.

Allegedly a writer known for spergouts called up a smaller publisher and used "I'm from Marvel" as leverage to convince them to drop a very successfully crowdfunded book by reviewer Diversity & Comics. The small publisher are giving out mixed messages but are overall denying it (but then, would you want to tangle with the legal team the mouse can afford?). Said writer completely nuked his social media immediately afterwards and has gone almost completely dark. Meanwhile D&C's version of events has got lawyers with youtubes saying he definitely has a case. Marvel might be about to get spectacularly embarrased, and the blowback could be enough to stain Disney, if only a little.

I've actually been seeing a lot of mentions D&C lately among the SW videos and especially in ComicArtistPro's videos and the recommendations. Something about Jawbreakers. If what you're saying is right, then it looks like things are about to get very interesting. Maybe even jawdropping.
