Didn't you ever wonder why he cares so much more about his honor and doing things the right way than every other klingon on the show, despite never actually having lived in klingon society?

Worf only knows of klingon language, customs, religion and traditions because he has read about them and thought it all sounded so much cooler than all the human stuff around him.

He's not a real klingon, he's a feddie orphan who became the equivalent of a klingon weaboo.

He just thinks of everything klingon the way a weaboo thinks of japan, despite having never set foot on a klingon planet until halfway through TNG.

I thought the Klingon civil war arc was funny because Worf found himself in the middle of nothing but Klingons, none of his federation buddies to bail him out. Within minutes of living among real Klingons, it becomes blatantly obvious that Worf is way out of his element. The bar scene especially. Klingons from both sides of the conflict are drinking, chatting, and boasting together, and Worf is standing there next to his brother Kurn, baffled.

i always felt bad for worf. its not like he wanted to be raised in fucking siberia. dude wanted to be klingon so bad and it was obvious he belonged to neither the empire nor the federation. he was a good tactical officer though, even if he was a tad jumpy with arming the photon torpedos.
