Except you can't take your weapons off the holodeck. There is no way whatsoever to get holodeck constructs off the holodeck. They had an entire episode dedicated to that fact in TNG. They needed a one-of-a-kind piece of 29th century technology which they cannot replicate to let the EMH walk around in VOY. I can see it now:

That's the EMH with the Sassy Doc personality service pack though. A thompson seems far easier to replicate on the holodeck, by overiding the safety feature and telling the computer

That's not how it works. Holodecks can't replicate; the technology is vaguely related but not the same; you'd have to actually take the holodeck apart and re-build it into a replicator. Just head to the replicators, which your ship already has. Why the hell are you trying to get the TV to make toast when you have a toaster?
