Would you? Should I?

First month has a TNG theme and an "exclusive Locutus of Borg figurine."

46 buckaroos for one crate, 44 buckaroos for 6 crates, one every two months, and you'll get a "bonus USS Enterprise Refit metal replica"!

6127b1 No.10952

One of those crates will be Discovery junk. I wouldn’t.

Naw son, they're most likely using the Locutus fig to lure you in with the bulk of the junk being the Discovery merch that isn't selling.

$220 for a few bundles of whatever tat they can dig out of a warehouse, or $220 for you to spend directly on things that you actually want.

>Actually considering paying for any of this crap

What is wrong with you?

Be honest. How many of you would get it if the figure was Dukat. I would be tempted, but refuse.

sample box subscriptions are so retarded.

No.

If it's your money do whatever, unless you're just shilling lootcrate shit or something.

0ccd8d No.11009

Exactly!

I mean, just for reference, you could get a screen-accurate uniform from pretty much any series for that much and have change to pop down to your local artisanal coffee shop to look like a twat and order a rakdajino then meekly correct yourself and say you meant cappuchino as you skulk into the corner in shame and contemplate over your too-expensive coffee on better things you could have spent your money on than what is really only a halloween costume before remembering at least you're not stupid enough to buy shit-crates.

06dd50 No.11016

>>10951

From what I've seen, the modus operandi of these various crate operations is to include one nifty/decent-quality item per box, and then stuff the rest of it with kitschy shit that no one could possibly have a use for. If it were me I'd keep my spending money and put it toward merch that I consider tasteful.

>exclusive Locutus of Borg figure

>only shows renders of the 3d CAD prototype

>no photographs of the actual physical model

That should be a red flag. As someone who does a lot of work with models and miniatures, I never buy a model unless I know what the physical product is going to look like. Wyrd and Steamforged are really bad about this, frequently only having concept art and 3d CAD renders on their boxes. How hard is it to put a couple little pictures of the actual painted mini on the box? The Japs have been doing that shit for decades. When you buy a Gunpla you can see exactly what you're getting.

this is some serious goy harvesting right here.
