2 GTA men indicted in U.S. for allegedly trafficking items for Pakistan nuclear program

Father, son accused of helping to ship materials using front companies

Two Mississauga, Ont., men have been indicted for allegedly helping to run an international procurement network over a five-year period to traffic materials such as aircraft parts and satellite communications equipment to support Pakistan's nuclear program.

Father and son Muhammad Ahsan Wali, 48, and Haji Wali Muhammad Sheikh, 82, are among five men accused of being associated with an alleged front company called Business World, based in Rawalpindi, a city in northern Pakistan, according to the United States Department of Justice.

The other three charged include another one of Sheikh's sons in Pakistan, as well as one man in Hong Kong and one in the United Kingdom. None of the allegations have been proven in court.

The group was indicted in October in a U.S. federal court for conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and the Export Control Reform Act. The indictment was unsealed this week.

"The defendants smuggled U.S.-origin goods to entities that have been designated for years as threats to U.S. national security for their ties to Pakistan's weapons programs," said U.S. Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers in a news release Wednesday.

"This indictment puts the world on notice not to do business with these defendants, and demonstrates our commitment to holding them accountable. It also stands as an example of the kind of deceptive behaviour U.S. businesses need to watch out for in designing appropriate export control and sanctions compliance programs."

$140K in wire transfers

In its news release, the Department of Justice said the accused worked from September 2014 to October 2019 to acquire materials from the U.S. for the Advanced Engineering Research Organization (AERO), which supplies weapons to Pakistan's armed forces, as well as to the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC).

Those materials included airplane and engine parts, power sensors, semiconductors and satellite communication equipment, among other items.

The U.S. lists both AERO and PAEC as contrary to its national security or foreign policy interests. AERO was added to the list in 2014 after the U.S. government said it found the group used front companies to obtain materials for Pakistan's cruise missile and drone program.

The indictment claims the accused tried to conceal the actual intended destinations of the materials obtained from the U.S., which were allegedly paid for by the Pakistani entities.

Iran's president says 'no limit' to nuclear enrichment

The Mississauga men allegedly received over $140,000 in wire transfers from a Pakistani bank account controlled by AERO and held in the name of a Rawalpindi branch of the supposed front company Business World. Those funds were then allegedly used to pay U.S. companies to export the goods from a Business World account in Canada.

The men also allegedly failed to apply for an export licence from the U.S. Department of Commerce to export the goods to Pakistan.

"Federal export control laws are vital tools that help prevent items from being exported overseas where they could be used in ways that can jeopardize our national security," U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire Scott W. Murray said in the release.

The indictment says the accused have been connected to 38 separate exports from the U.S., involving 29 different companies around the world, including three in New Hampshire.

Each of the five men has been charged with two counts of conspiracy, the news release said.

None have been arrested.

So the threat assessment was determined by the Virginia Fusion Center. What exactly is that? A 'cooperative' group sharing threat information. However, some of the same groups helping to make the assessment will likely be engaged in being called in to enforce the 'emergency'. Seems rather - circular. AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas has presented the state's highest civilian honor to a 71-year-old man who shot and killed a gunman who opened fire at a church in December.

Abbott on Monday gave Jack Wilson the Governor's Medal of Courage.

Wilson is a firearms instructor who trained the West Freeway Church of Christ's volunteer security team.

He shot the attacker once in the head after the gunman opened fire with a shotgun in the church's sanctuary.

Two parishioners were killed in the attack.

Authorities later identified the attacker as 43-year-old Keith Thomas Kinnunen, who had a history of criminal and psychological trouble.

President Trump’s legal team in his impeachment trial will include former independent counsel Ken Starr, his successor Robert Ray and famed defense attorney Alan Dershowitz, according to reports.

The three seasoned veterans are expected to join a team headed by White House counsel Pat Cipollone and outside attorney Jay Sekulow, who plan to deliver statements on Trump’s behalf on the Senate floor, CNN reported.

The team also will include Pam Bondi, the former Florida attorney general who is serving as special adviser to the president for impeachment, according to The AP.

Dershowitz “will present oral arguments at the Senate trial to address the constitutional arguments against impeachment and removal,” a spokesman for the president’s legal team told CNN.

“While Professor Dershowitz is nonpartisan when it comes to the Constitution — he opposed the impeachment of President Bill Clinton and voted for Hillary Clinton — he believes the issues at stake go to the heart of our enduring Constitution,” the team said in a statement.

“He is participating in this impeachment trial to defend the integrity of the Constitution and to prevent the creation of a dangerous constitutional precedent,” it added.

The president has relied on Dershowitz, a constitutional lawyer, for advice throughout special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation and during his impeachment.

Starr is the hard-charging prosecutor who led the Whitewater investigation that led to President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

He was succeeded by Ray at the Office of Independent Counsel during the Clinton administration.

China’s economy last year grew at the slowest rate in three decades and the country’s birth rate fell to the lowest level on record.

Gross domestic product grew just 6.1 percent in 2019, according to data released Friday by China. That was below forecast but within the 6.1 percent to 6.5 percent rate the Chinese government says it targets.

Experts say that China’s economic figures are more accurate than they were in the past, when many regional reports appeared to be based on local officials’ attempts to provide their superiors in the ruling Communist Party with the numbers they believed were desired rather than a matter-of-fact assessment of the economy. Yet China’s economy remains clouded by so much opacity and state-involvement that it remains difficult to know how accurate the economic figures are.

On average between 1978 and 2017, China’s economy expanded 9.5 percent per year, according to official statistics.

I am writing regarding unrefuted scientific facts about fetal DNA contaminants in the Measles-Mumps-Rubella vaccine, which must be made known to lawmakers and the public.

Merck’s MMR II vaccine (as well as the chickenpox, Pentacel ,and all Hep-A containing vaccines) is manufactured using human fetal cell lines and are heavily contaminated with human fetal DNA from the production process. Levels in our children can reach up to 5 ng/ml after vaccination, depending on the age, weight and blood volume of the child. That level is known to activate Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9), which can cause autoimmune attacks.

To illustrate the autoimmune capability of very small amounts of fetal DNA, consider this: labor is triggered by fetal DNA from the baby that builds up in the mother’s bloodstream, triggering a massive immune rejection of the baby. This is labor.

It works like this: fetal DNA fragments[i] from a baby with about 300 base pairs in length are found in a pregnant mother’s serum. When they reach between 0.46– 5.08 ng/mL, they trigger labor via the TLR9 mechanism[ii]. The corresponding blood levels are 0.22 ng/ml and 3.12 ng/ml. The fetal DNA levels in a child after being injected with fetal-manufactured vaccines reach the same level that triggers autoimmune rejection of baby by mother.

Anyone who says that the fetal DNA contaminating our vaccines is harmless either does not know anything about immunity and Toll- like receptors or they are not telling the truth.

If fetal DNA can trigger labor (a naturally desired autoimmune reaction), then those same levels in vaccines can trigger autoimmunity in a child. Fragmented fetal DNA contained in vaccines is of similar size, ~215 base pairs.[iii]

This is direct biological evidence that fetal DNA contaminants in vaccines are not in low innocuous amounts. They are a very strong proinflammatory trigger.

Administration of fragments of human fetal (primitive) non-self DNA to a child could generate an immune response that would also cross-react with the child’s own DNA, since the contaminating DNA could have sections of overlap very similar to the child’s own DNA.

Children with autistic disorder have antibodies against human DNA in their circulation that non- autistic children do not have. These antibodies may be involved in autoimmune attacks in autistic children.[iv]

Obama’s CIA, Led by John Brennan, Held Secret Meetings with Stars of Showtime’s ‘Homeland’

The critically acclaimed Showtime series Homeland received secret assistance from the Obama-era Central Intelligence Agency and its then-director John Brennan, according to a new interview with the producers of the show and network executives.

In a roundtable conversation published Thursday by the Hollywood Reporter, the team behind Homeland revealed that they met with intelligence officials at CIA headquarters in Langely, Virginia. Although they didn’t say when the meeting took place, they told the magazine that it was during the time that Brennan was running the agency.

Brennan served as CIA director from 2013 to 2017, during the Barack Obama administration.

The wide-ranging conversation touched on how Homeland was created and how the creative team was able to tap into the knowledge of CIA agents, ambassadors, ex-military personnel, journalists, and even whistleblower Edward Snowden.

At one point, the Homeland team visited Langely to meet with the real-life counterparts to the characters portrayed in the series.
