More Details On Death Of Two SBU Officers In Eastern Ukraine. DPR Says They Prepared False Flag Attack

On November 30th, two officers from the Ukrainian security service – SBU died in unclear circumstances at the separation line in Eastern Ukraine. Newly-published photos and footage suggest that they did, in fact, die in an explosion caused by landmines, which was the initial report.

The Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) reported the following timeline of events:

“On November 30th, 2019, two SBU employees died: Colonel Volochaev and Colonel Kaplunov.

The task of the group was to capture one of the key positions of the DPR forces. When the sabotage group entered the territory of the Republic, actions of the group were detected by the People’s Militia.

During the retreat, Colonel Kaplunov stepped on a landmine and died on the spot. Colonel Volochaev also stepped on a mine, while he was attempting to evacuate the body.”

There are photographs showing the SBU officers, as well as the corpse of Colonel Kaplunov.

In addition to these, there are dozens more photographs that can be found here.

Mikhail Popov, press secretary of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR claimed that the two SBU officers, and their squad mates were preparing a provocation when they died.

“The group’s task was to capture one of the key positions of the DPR forces. When a sabotage group entered the territory of the DPR, actions the sabotage group were detected by the People’s Militia,” Popov said.

According to the deputy chief of the People’s Police of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, “the enemy’s sabotage group had the task of carrying out an armed sabotage.”

In particular, the Ukrainian group, was supposed to “kill Ukrainian servicemen”, who was on the DPR side of the contact line as a part of the inspection commission to check the progress of the de-escalation deal. Thus, the Kiev side wanted to accuuse the DPR of sabotaging the de-escalation. No evidence confirming this claim has been provided.

The two SBU officers – Colonel Denis Volochaev and Colonel Dmitru Kaplunov were posthumously awarded a Gold Star medal by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Ukrainian side claimed that the two officers were part of a group that was actually stopping an infiltration attempt by DPR servicemen, and died protecting their country.

Dmitru Kaplunov also received a hero’s funeral.

About 40 residences on a Columbus side street were evacuated while bomb squad, hazmat fire personnel and other emergency responders investigated a resident’s report that he sustained minor burns from a possible small nuclear reactor inside a residential garage. The incident was reported at a home on the 6300 block of Chippenhook Court, a cul-de-sac located at the far west end of Cranston Drive in Cranston Commons. The residential development is located off Route 33 (Riverside Drive) on the west side and Sawmill Road on the east. As a precaution while authorities investigated the man’s claims, Chippenhook Court was evacuated and Cranston Drive was closed between Route 33 and Dummerston Court, the next cul-de-sac street east in the subdivision.

The man told bomb squad, arson fire investigators and medics on scene that he sustained “radio frequency burns” while working on a “quantum physics generator” in his garage, said Battalion Chief Steve Martin, the Columbus Division of Fire spokesman. “We have no reason to believe that he was trying to make anything that would do anyone any harm,” Martin said. He said medics determined the man did not appear to be injured, at least not seriously.

In the man’s 911 call, he made reference to a particle accelerator and alpha waves, Martin said. The latter reference led to concerns about potential radiation, he said. New Zealand link to Epstein royal scandal photo.

A right royal ruckus is going on in Britain over a copy of a photo taken by Arrowtown photographer Michael Thomas.

As scandal swirls around Prince Andrew, BBC TV this week aired a programme during which it talked to Thomas about a photo of Andrew with American Virginia Roberts, then 17, allegedly forced to have sex with the royal in 2001.

Andrew, the Queen’s second son, last month implied in a TV interview the original photo may have been doctored.

Thomas snapped a copy of that photo, now in FBI hands, when on assignment in Australia for Britain’s Mail on Sunday newspaper in 2011.

He was photographing the now-Virginia Giuffre, and saw the photo among snaps she showed him.

At that time, Giuffre was known as having been sex-trafficked by paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

The photo of Andrew and Giuffre was taken in the London house of Epstein’s then girlfriend, socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. She’s also in the photo.

Thomas told BBC’s Panorama programme he believed the photo was genuine because he’d found it in the middle of a bundle of snaps from her travels with Epstein and Maxwell.

“They were just typical teenage snaps. There’s no way that photo was fake.”

Speaking to Mountain Scene, Thomas, who’s lived in Arrowtown for 15 years, says his copy of the original photo “is probably one of the most published pictures in the world at the moment”.

“As I said to the BBC, it was like any normal picture you got developed at Boots the chemist … they were only 5×7 pictures.

“That whole thing about it being photoshopped is just rubbish, there’s no chance that it was I don’t believe there is, anyway.”

Thomas notes that Andrew didn’t outright say that the photo was fake in his TV interview.

“He kind of just tried to muddy the waters, it was quite weird.

“I’m only a small part, a tiny little part, but it is funny to think that you’re involved in something that’s now so big. It was big at the time, in 2011, now, it’s just gone mad.”

Thomas on Facebook this week quips: “There goes my OBE.”

Opposition probes possibility Abe knew ex-chairman of questionable firm for decades

TOKYO – The main opposition Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (CDP) has suggested that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe may have been acquainted with the former chairman of a company investigated over a malicious multilevel marketing scheme for 35 years, though Abe has flatly denied they had any personal relationship. The name of the former chairman, Takayoshi Yamaguchi, surfaced amid investigations by an opposition camp team into invitations to an annual cherry blossom-viewing party hosted by the prime minister. The taxpayer-funded function, which the prime minister hosts each year in spring, has come under scrutiny over the attendance of many people linked to an organization supporting the prime minister.

Suspicions have arisen that Yamaguchi, the former chairman of failed healthcare product rental firm Japan Life Co., was invited to the 2015 party through the prime minister's quota. Japan Life previously ran a fraudulent multilevel marketing scheme and was investigated on suspicion of violating the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.

Shintaro Abe was serving as foreign minister at the time. Prime Minister Abe was then serving as an official secretary to his father as foreign minister. At the meeting of the opposition party panel, Kuroiwa demanded that the Foreign Ministry examine the records of the prime minister's overseas business trips at the time to confirm if he accompanied his father.

A ministry official replied that the ministry was closely investigating the matter and would give a reply immediately after completing the investigation. The opposition bloc has grilled the government over allegations that Prime Minister Abe may have invited Yamaguchi to the cherry blossom-viewing party because they had been acquainted with each other since around the time when the prime minister was serving as an official secretary to his father.

Prime Minister Abe told a House of Councillors plenary session on Dec. 2 that he has no personal relationship with Yamaguchi at all.
