At 24:50 said his goal is to hasten the demise of the nation state.
This is the issue with Barlow, his goal of destroying the nation state is the same as the globalists. He preaches individual freedom, but eliminating controls over the money supply through block chain, eliminates one of the major pillars of a nation state and any nation state that fails will be subsumed by the communist chinese, the islamists or the nazi globalists. Barlow's demise of the nation state, in particular western nation states will not lead to increased individual freedoms, in fact the exact opposite will occur, namely tyranny and oppression. We can laud Barlow for his IBOR, but we must be aware of the fact that his goals were not the same as ours. Same goes for soros ideas on internet neutrality, neutralize the state so tech companies can censor.

Barlow discusses the death of monotheism, and talks about the destruction of top down patriarchal structures of discourse and the beginning of a female centered horizontal discourse, a governing by consesus.
The problem here twofold, who decides what the consensus is and who programs the consensus. We can see silicone valley trying go dictate consensus through community "communist" standards to appease overseas chi coms, nazi eu, and islamists. And the rising censorship by tech companies to enforce their "consensus".
That brings us to the IBOR. we must be careful that IBOR acts to constrain tech companies and hostile governments who want to attack free speech. We cannot permit a fake IBOR that seeks to destroy our nation state. Without our nation state we will fall prey to these globalist plans for our enslavement.
This brings me to snowden. Seems snowden and barlow were friends.

At least they declared an affinity for one another. Now is Snowden a white hat or black hat. If snowden has fallen under the spell of internet freedoms by communist consensus, blockchain money and open borders, these are the very things that will result in the death of our nation state, then we have a real problem because if the west falls, if the US loses the ablity to control borders, enforce tariffs and imigration law, enforce its sovereighty on the internet by protecting our free speech, if the US loses those powers then we dont have a country, we will be the next globalist victim and be overrun by chi coms, islamists and multinational combines and tranny soy boy gestapos. If snowden is unaware of these "unintended consequences" of what barlow stands for, then he better wake the hell up, but i doubt he is unaware.

Written in 1911, gesell outlines a eutopia of individuals free of the nation states, just like barlow. Barlow must have been a disciple of gesell. But gesell's book is really a how to book on how to destroy the nation state, its a globalist playbook.
Highlights of the book
1. Individuals have abslute right to open borders and can take land where ever they want. Open borders in 1911.
2. No nations can enforce borders or tariffs. What Trump is now countering.
3. No nation can enforce its own money supply. He calls for "free money". This sounds like the development of block chain cyber currencies.
4. Humans should be subject to natural selection, hitler style eugenics. Gesell says that Christian ethics must be brought down so that charity and healthcare can be withdrawn. Similar to barlows death of monotheism.
5. Get rid of private property, with nation states being reduced to the role of land holding companies leasing land. What gesell calls "free land"
This is a plan to destroy the nation states, just like barlow, gesell says his goal is freedom, but he is selling a snake oil dystopia, the reality is that this plan will result the destruction of nation states will result in our enslavement.
This is the fight our President is waging. Enforce the border, build the wall, enforce tariffs, reduce taxes. If gesells book is a how too book on destroying nation states, then these modern day programs need to be found and countered.
We can see the planned currency collapse resulting in the destruction of central banks and the coming globalist replacement crypto currencies that will neuter nation states. These need an effective counter
