At the end of each week of firing on the rifle range, you will conduct forced marches of 3, 5 and 8 miles respectively. Don’t be fooled, with the added weight of your pack, flak jacket, helmet, and weapon, this will be tough.

How's this for a freaky dream … maybe it's an MK Ultra dream (hopefully that's tongue in cheek) … you can post on a very specifically narrow range of topic in 8Chan and it will skew your sense of time. It's not a minor thing when this happens. Most would literally short circuit. Genetically, humans are capable of passing through the 9 month incubation period far faster, but that's the minimum amount of time required for the general population just to acclimate to physical reality enough to come out of the womb. The same holds true for the infancy / toddler stages. We are still acclimating mentally to physical reality and the process is that demanding on mental faculties. Consider how fast most kids go through puberty. We could zip through the infancy and/or toddler stages exponentially faster than we do. It's all about the acclimation period. "Passing time" as we perceive it is apparently a super difficult thing to wrap our minds around and this physical arena has to be entered very, very slowly so we can adjust and adapt mentally.
It was one of those dreams where I was watching somebody else go through the hell of having inadvertently slipped a gear or something and he came detached from the "carrier wave," leaving him free floating. Even if only for a moment, it fried his mind completely. Then it was me going through it and I was able to hang on but only just barely. It wasn't pleasant.
Maybe it was all metaphorical and it really just meant that newfags should lurk for at least 9 months before even attempting to post anything.

Why? This movie has a saying of "Where we go one, we go all." Q has used this repeatedly. Brilliant or sadistic? you decide.

Brief synopsis:
1961: Boys go on school ship (Albatross) for an entire school year. Boys becoming men type of thing. They get boarded by Cubans. Bay of pigs reference.
Key rich kid character (Howard Hughes' son?) shoots dolphin (like a douche) and captain boots him off the ship.
Main character refers to being anonymous in a way that will hurt your soul after being involved with this shit. (Q: Heavy shit. Brilliant but dark.)
On the way back to the mainland, ship encoungers 'white squal' - HUGE storm with ample lightning and enormous waves that roll the ship several times. captain's wife and 3 others die. Very sad shit.
There's speculation that the rich asshole father of the rich kid has it out for the captain and sets up the trial to take the captain's master sailor certificate. Rich kid stands up in court and demonstrates unity with crew. Captain doesn't lose his cert.
My thoughts:
Possible this movie is completely unrelated and the WRWY reference is coincidences. (Not sure I want to not believe in a coincidence with this one.)
This could be just a motivational reminder of what it means to go as a group. Even if just this, it is worth the watch if you're not totally strapped for time. I cried twice but that's because I've been through a lot with all of this and certain things about this movie hit home HARD.
This could be a hint to dig on the dickhead father of the rich kid. There was a reference to Howard Huges but I don't know if that's who it was in the movie. (Trivial research should be able to reveal this but I'm not up to it tonight.)
The storm in the movie's timeline would have been right around the time of the Bay of Pigs invation. Weather modification in use at the time? Is there some scary cabal fuckery we're not aware of?

Asked if Kubrick’s knowledge of secret societies and their darkest secrets had anything to do with his death, Kidman raised an eyebrow and said “That’s not a question I can answer here.”

Parkland is the most expensive part of Broward County. Its not a place where most people in South Florida can afford to live. Many of the houses there cost millions of dollars. They are for rent or sale with no takers so they are just locked up…and the guys come from time to time to do the lawns and hedges and keep up the properties. That's why there are no cars, etc. Many of the kids to go to Stoneman Douglas don't live in Parkland. They live in the adjacent city—Coral Springs, much of which is a BIG step down from Parkland. The real issue is that she was shot 3 times by a high powered rifle, and had a collapsed lung. Our research yesterday around #556 determined that it would not have been possible for her to in in that condition, in that room with the lack of even basic care equipment.
