Recently I noticed the Rothschild family photo from outside the Frankfurt Jewish cemetery in February 1994 that is frequently posted on the boards and wondered about the symbolism of the young girl's bright red coat and noting that everyone else was wearing neutral colors.
The extended Rothschild family was in Frankfurt, Germany to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birthday of their family founder Mayer Amschel Rothschild (February 23, 1744). It was also coincidentally the 1200th anniversary of the City of Frankfurt.
I am not sure I have read any commentary on the boards about the man standing behind Jacob Rothschild and to his left. It appears to be Prince Phillip. Most photos are somewhat grainy. He has been wearing an identical green coat for years.
There is no reason to jump to the conclusion that Prince Phillip is in fact a Rothschild merely from attending the event, because speakers included former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, though Kohl does not appear to be pictured the family photo.

This is a remarkably similar motif to the Jewish ghetto-clearing scene in Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List where one small girl wears a red coat in an otherwise black and white movie.

As I was wondering about these two instances of the red coat that were only months apart, I saw a Daily Mail article showing the Duchess of Cambridge walking with her husband, his brother and his wife from Sandringham to attend church with the queen on Sunday, December 30, 2018.
The Duchess of Cambridge was wearing a bright red coat, while everyone else wore neutral colors.
I recall that the Duchess's mother's maiden name is Goldsmith, whom at least some of which are understood to be a relatives of the Rothschild family - cousins, as it were. This is not understood to be the case of Kate's mother directly.
Then I recalled the often mentioned resemblance (at the time) between Princess Dianna and Jemima (Goldsmith) Khan. I recall the story about when Diana was arguing with Prince Charles, she escaped to Jimmy Goldsmith's estate and not to her own family's Althorpe.

In the end I was left with two lingering but unanswered questions.
One question was what is the significance of the red coats in 1993/94 and was whether or not Kate's red coat just random or contained more of a message.
The second question was to what degree the royal family are really Goldsmiths or Rothschilds.
