On my own research into the occult, the owl is venerated because it sees in the dark when other things are blind.
Beyond that, if you're looking at Lilith, everything seems to trace back to the Book of Enoch and parallels between that and other ancient religious systems from Egypt, Sumeria etc.
The Freemasons have a codephrase for when they are in trouble, something like "is there no mercy for a widow's son?". The widow is referring to Isis, whose husband Osiris was murdered and his body scattered across Egypt. She reassembled the parts apart from the penis, of which she made a new one, then mated with him once more and the fruit of that union was Horus. So Horus is the widow's son and they Eye of Horus is the Eye of Providence atop the pyramid on the back of the dollar bill. However, they engage in equivalency across all religions and the equivalent to Isis in Sumerian and Talmudic tradition is Lilith, Adam's first wife, who stole God's true name and wielded vast magical power and who could not be killed. And the son of Lilith is said to be Azazel, the offspring of Satan, which makes Azazel the first literal "god made flesh". And it's this son of the widow that Freemason's identify with. Azazel, who is in the New Testament as the Beast from the Sea, the Antichrist, who will tear down existing power structures for his Satan to come and impose order on.
Azazel taught cosmetics and war to humankind and in his depictions in modern film, this is how you identify him - skilled warrior, agent of chaos, lives by or comes from the sea or is associated with it, wears makeup if they can get away with it, is the equal of Christ and imitates his miracles by coming back from the dead. The list of Azazel figures in Masonic movies includes - Jack Sparrow, Han Solo, Martin Riggs, The Joker, Riddick, John Wick, Neo, Kai in 47 Ronin (yes, Keanu has played him 3 times now), Capt James T Kirk, Sam Axe in Burn Notice, Starbuck (as a female Azazel) in Battlestar Galactica, Daniel Craig's Masonic James Bond and Trevor Phillips in GTA V. (If you don't believe this last one just play the game again and listen out for talk of devils, clowns and the like). Masons have a formula they stick to when they're writing about Azazel, Shemyaza (Satan) and Jesus and once you know it it's impossible not to notice it.
The top level of Freemasonry, or one of them, is the Royal Order of Jesters. It features a skit, the script of which you can google, which has an encounter between the Azazel figure Jester, Laughter, and T.Ale.Teller the Jester of the King, who is Jesus. They face off and are utterly identical in look or movement but the Jesus one acknowledges that Azazel is the older one. In other words Jesus is acknowledging Azazel was God made flesh before him and has therefore a better claim to be a Messiah than He.
Long story short, all these occult references you have you just need to identify the Judaeo-Christian equivalent figures to work out the story they're going with and Freemasons worship Shemyaza (Satan), though they have a serious boner for Azazel (the Antichrist) since they seem to venerate this guy at least twice as much.
Hope this helps
