He also has history in op research under Rahm Emanuel:

During his time there, Michael worked on over 150 campaigns in 42 states, including multiple gubernatorial and congressional campaigns (i.e. Joe Biden’s U.S. Senate Campaign)." He's also a political science major.

Interesting that you have a Clinton World connect litigation specialist in the areas of FISA and opposition research in the mix. It actually seems that he has a unique set of qualifications. So unique in fact that it strongly suggests that he's actually a cabal player involved in the FISA abuse scandal, either in planning or cleanup. His current legal moves are really intended to delay and/or hold off the scandal. That isn't a coincidence.
